Inspiration and color define my art.  Whether I am painting glorious sunsets in Hawaii or Florida, the cypress-adorned beaches of Carmel-by-the-Sea, the dramatic Big Sur coastline, or a stunning view of breaking waves as viewed from my living room window, I immerse myself totally in each painting.  I love to capture the effects of sun on water, the moon on the sea, the play of breezes in the grasses of the dunes, and waves everywhere!  Every potential painting inspires or touches me in some way or I don't pick up my brushes.  I see a host of bright colors jumping from the most bland-appearing scene and as the colors move me I can't wait to capture them the way I see them. 

I am devoted to my art: it consumes, delights and and excites me. I hope my paintings move you in some important way as you consider acquiring one for your collection.  I love it when they go to good homes!
